A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT.
I am excited to begin this new year as the president of the New Rochelle Branch NAACP! This year our goal is to engage more of our membership and to be active, relevant and visible in our beloved city of New Rochelle. The national NAACP has been fighting against racism and discrimination in communities across the country for
115 years. Our New Rochelle Branch joined that fight in 1923! Let’s continue the legacy!
We are the organization, this is the time, and YOU are the people. Let’s hit the ground
running. Let’s be the change we want to see in the world.
Our organization is filled with dedicated volunteers. The following people have stepped up to lead committees:
Ms. Filomena Daniele Membership
Dr. Carla Woolbright Education
Neil Reynolds, Esq. Public Safety/Criminal Justice
Ms. Myriam Decime Housing and Economic Sustainability
Mrs.Otilia Taylor-Tanner Civic Engagement
Mr. Joe Andrews Youth Council Citywide
Ms. Sonya Spady Youth Council New Rochelle High School
Ms. Nikisha Pace Health
Ms. Judy Henry Freedom Fund
Pastor Wallace Noble Religious Affairs
Please choose a committee to which you would like to lend your time and talent. Many
hands make light work. We need you.
